Jennifer is 43 and lives in Colorado, USA. She has lived with ankylosing spondylitis for nine years. Jennifer is an artist and grassroots advocate for Spondylitis Awareness. She loves color, her garden, historical fiction and her wonderfully supportive family.
Eduardo is 39 years old and is originally from the USA, but now lives in South America. He has been living with rheumatoid arthritis for almost 10 years. He enjoys all types of design, blogging, reading, cooking, and being a superhero.
Kierra is 7 and lives in Washington and Texas, USA. She has lived with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis for four years. Kierra likes to play soccer, swim and play with her dogs. She was the Arthritis Walk Hero in Houston in 2010 and has walked all three miles in the past four walks. She is good at math and science in school and wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up.
Lyn is 79 and lives in New York State, USA. She has lived with rheumatoid arthritis for fifty-five years. Lyn was a folk singer/musician/folklorist, teacher, folk concert entrepreneur and activity director for nursing homes. She now indulges her passion for creativity with writing and photography. Lyn has three children and dotes on 6 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She enjoys the Walkway Over the Hudson which she traverses with her walker as often as she can, taking photos from 212 feet above the water.
